Tuesday baby A turned 1. I can't believe that just over a year ago she wasn't here where I could hold her and hug her and love on her. She has grown so fast in this past year. From completely helpless she can now walk, run, talk (although this is limited! LOL), feed herself, and more. The changes in my family amaze me also.
We went from being unemployed, to my husband working back at a job he loves and getting better benefits and a pay raise. I went from feeling isolated after leaving college and my college friends to becoming a part of a church family, feeling like I have a place there, and making many new friends. Two of my children have changed schools and this year I have a high schooler, a middle schooler, an elementary schooler, and a toddler. I believe that we have grown closer as a family. God has worked many wonderful things in my family!
So here are a few pics of Baby A and her first cake:
And I wanted to share a new pattern that I wrote up. I made if for Baby A, and it is sized about 9-12 months. Nothing fancy, just a little halter top. I think I may offer this one for sale once I get the pattern tested and try to alter it for different sizes. Please let me know what you think of it.
