40 hats in 40 days 2014

I'm getting really excited about Lent!  Why?  This will be my 3rd year of making 40 hats to donate to charity in the 40 days of Lent.  It began in 2012 here.   I've been combing the internet lately for patterns for this year's Lent project and have found several that my fingers are itching to get started on.  I'm hoping to use up some stash yarn, but I expect I'll end up breaking down and buying a few skeins too.
