June Blooms Day 10

Are you ready for another flower granny?  Today's flower is the brainchild of Aurora Suominen who blogs at One Crochet Day at a Time.  She calls this one Framing a Flower and it is a 6 inch square.  Her example is worked monochromatic

which is beautiful.  It is also gorgeous when worked with a contrasting background.  (I peeked at some pictures that others shared of this motif on Ravelry)
